Invitation to the presentation of the DTLP project

Dear Partners!

DSC Digital Supply Chain GmbH and the DTLP Digital Transport and Logistics Platform Initiative Group invite all participants to take a look into the future of transport and logistics at the forum "Transport and Logistics Innovation: A Fresh Look at Supply Chain Management" on April 28, 2022. The event will take place in Potsdam and as an online conference in a mixed format (face-to-face and online) under the auspices of the German Chamber of Industry and Commerce, with the participation of European transport and logistics companies and international experts in e-commerce and logistics. On behalf of the forum organizers, Sergey Tumel, an expert in electronic data systems, will provide a comprehensive technical insight as DTLP project manager.

The DTLP is an integrated ecosystem of digital transportation and logistics platforms that brings together all major supply chain players to create advanced digital mechanisms for their collaboration in the areas of trade, transportation, mutual payments, and government regulations.

The services that the ecosystem aims to provide range from finding trading partners to planning and negotiating international multimodal transport routes, as well as additional services such as customs clearance or dispute resolution. DTLP does not replace the IT systems of the companies involved in the supply chain, but creates a digital infrastructure and a unified trusted information space to achieve synergistic optimization effects between these IT systems. The DTLP will achieve this by integrating with a pan-European data network based on the UN/CEFACT and EU regulations (eFTI standards), and by providing a bridge to the EAG network and China's NIALNET and LOGINK networks connecting the trading and economic partners of Japan and South Korea. This enables cross-border transmission of electronic documents from different jurisdictions with mutual recognition of their legal significance.

The use of trusted third party (TTP) software and hardware complexes and blockchain technology are envisioned as mechanisms to create such opportunities. The fundamental difference between the DTLP and numerous integration platforms, including TRADELENS , is this:

  1. The approach tailored to each supply chain participant, including providing user-friendly interfaces between their IT systems and the DTLP and ensuring the confidentiality of their business information, including protection from unauthorized access.
  2. Providing digital tools not only for exchanging electronic data and documents, but also for building individual supply chain networks from the supplier to the consumer. To this end, it should be possible to book the required transport and logistics infrastructure resources and vehicles from different modes of transport, as well as to influence the processes of managing these resources on a contractual basis. This will include the use of smart contracts.

The use of the DTLP international ecosystem offers many benefits to all parties involved in the transportation of goods, from the simple creation and transmission of documents to complex tasks such as the planning of international multimodal transport routes involving multiple parties.

We invite you and your colleagues to attend the presentation of the DTLP project by Mr. Sergey Tumel as a BVL event.
